New season, new project.

For the 2020 DTRA Max developed a new build based on a Ducati Scrambler 800.

Due to a change in racing regulation the frame now had to be kept standard. The custom built CNC top and bottom yokes were paired with DLC coated and revalved R6 forks, and an Ohlins unit at the rear. The composite bodywork hides an aluminum fuel cell and repositioning of all components. The ABS system and a number of surplus parts were removed, dropping 20+Kg over the standard bike. The swingarm was modified to take the 19” wheels as well as a different rear caliper. The engine is largely standard with a modified airbox, optimised ECU mapping, full Zard exhaust system and an in-house developed hydraulic clutch.

Peter Boast’s protege Jack Bell stepped up to the Hooligans Class to be the rider, surpassing all expectations by finishing 2nd in the only race in 2020.

The F*** TRK raced at the Malle Mile and Malle Beach race 2020. The latter will be hard to forget as it went ahead during a storm of epic proportion.

Jack Bell was not bothered by a bit of wind and rain and had a very strong performance on the day. Watch out for Jack when the racing season resumes!
