OLIMPIA100
For the 2021 season, the F*** TRK bike went through some substantial changes and modifications, so much so that it was felt a new name was needed. So to celebrate Max’s grandmother Olimpia turning a mighty 100 years old in 2021 the bike was named Olimpia100 in her honour.
Overall the bike ran well the previous year, therefore the focus has been put on crafting and refining few details derived from the stock bike, in particular the chassis and the bodywork.
The swingarm is now a purpose built Cr-Mo brazed unit as opposed to the modified cast aluminium standard part. This allows for the bike to have a bigger range of setup options. Also new is the rear brake assembly with a floating calliper and one-off 270mm solid disc, both CAD designed in-house. Other minor changes include a pivot system adjustable handlebar clamps with RK bars and a couple more kilograms off the ancillaries.
The bodywork is Max’s trademark single unit design, but the tank sides and seat are much slimmer and sleek compared to the 2020 bike. This meant rearranging most of the electrics and the fuel delivery system.
The bike has responded well to all the modifications: Jack Bell has given his seal of approval and showed good consistent pace in testing. He’s now rearing to go as soon as the racing season is up and running again.
