THE BLIND BEGGAR

Max’s first race build sure did turn heads around when it was first unveiled: the build started with a Ducati Monster frame. Yep, that’s right.

The extensive work included the manufacturing of the subframe, adding an aluminium petrol tank and a modified swingarm, CNC yokes, modified forks and WP rear shock.

The engine was stripped, vapour blasted and rebuilt using hi-compression forged pistons, special cams, a modified flywheel, one-off exhaust and Keihin Flat Slide carburetors. And finally the bike was shod with 19” spoked wheels and Dunlop DT3 tyres.

The bike was developed with the invaluable advice and help from legendary race track champion Peter Boast. With Peter on the seat, the Blind Beggar ended its debut season with a respectable best result of a 3rd place in 2019.
